Hey there. Let's ease into today's meditation by taking a moment to get grounded. Take a deep breath in and out. And again, in and out. One more time, in and out. Great. Let's talk about overcoming self-limiting beliefs or what some experts call iceberg beliefs. These are the negative thoughts about yourself that lie beneath the surface and make it hard for you to progress. This can be tricky when it comes to building confidence because our feelings can often shape our reality. The key is acknowledging them, but then empowering yourself to still move forward. So let's start by getting mindful. If you can, close your eyes and get comfortable, then take a deep breath in and out. One more time, in and out. Now, bring to mind something you find yourself saying in your own head, something negative that starts with, "I'm always" or "I'm never", something that might have held you back from accomplishing a goal. Whatever it is, try to get in touch with it. What does it make you feel? Notice your body at this moment. Locate the sensations of your emotions. As you acknowledge these feelings, take a deep, long breath in and now take a deep breath out. One more time. Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out. The thing is, when you look at these beliefs up close, you can see they aren't true, they're simply negative thoughts that come and go. Speak back to your belief and remind yourself why it's not true. As you think of reasons why it's not true, imagine it melting away. Now it's time to fill you back up with something more empowering. Repeat after me out loud or in your head, "I deserve any blessings I receive". "I am destined for greatness." "I am confident." When you're ready, open your eyes. Remember, you can do anything you set your mind to. And before you go, repeat this after me out loud or in your head. "I believe I am capable of greatness." One more time. "I believe I am capable of greatness." You got this....
