(cheerful music) Hi there, it's me, Alan, from "Sesame Street," and you're listening to "Goodnight World," a sleepcast where your friends at "Sesame Street" and Headspace Studios help you get ready for bed. Goodnight, world. Goodnight, world! Goodnight, world! Goodnight, world. Goodnight, world. Goodnight, world. Goodnight, world. Tonight's episode is- "Big Bird in the Museum." Hi, it's me, Alan, from "Sesame Street." It's almost closing time here at Hooper's Store, ♪ La, la, la ♪ but I can hear we're about to get a visitor. (bell chimes) ♪ La, la, la, la ♪ I think you may know him, too. Oh, Alan! I'm so glad you're still here. Big Bird! It sounds like you're pretty excited about something. Take a seat here at the counter and tell me all about it. Alan, you're never gonna guess where I was today. Oo, I like a good guessing game. Can you give me a hint? Well sure. Um, it's a place filled with all kinds of pictures, drawings, and paintings, and photos! (laughs) Oh, statues, too, and well, just all kinds of art. Hmm. Is it a museum? An art museum has all of those things. That's right, Alan, you guessed it. (Alan laughs) It was a museum, the Sesame Street Art Museum. Granny Bird took me, and it was wonderful, Alan. We saw lots of art, especially lots and lots of paintings. I liked those the best. Aw, that does sound wonderful. Did you have a favorite painting that you saw today? I think one of my favorites was a big painting that had a whole lot of bears. (laughs) And Alan, (laughs) they were all standing up and dancing. Dancing, Alan! (laughs) It was so funny. I've seen that one. It is funny. I like how the artist painted each bear doing a different dance move. They really looked like they were having fun. Oh, and there was another one I remember. It was a painting of a room with a window looking out at the beach and the ocean, but everything in the painting was colored blue, Alan. Everything! That's a really interesting way to paint, using lots of different shades of the same color. I'll look for that painting the next time I visit the museum. I do like the color blue. Huh, gee, I'm so glad to hear that, Alan, because, well, here's what I wanted to show you. (zipper zips) What's that you've got in your bag, Big Bird? It's a marker! Granny Bird let me pick anything I wanted from the museum store, and I picked this! (triumphant horn flourish) That's a really nice marker, Big Bird. You chose a very nice blue color. (laughs) Mmhmm. I wanted a blue one because of that blue painting I saw. At the museum store, there were lots and lots of different blue-colored markers. It was hard to pick just one. I bet! There was a nice light blue marker, like the color the sky looks on a...
