(light music) Headspace Studio. Well, hello there, Dear Headspace listeners. It's me, Robin, and today, I'm here with my pal, Dora. And we are gonna be answering your questions about what to do when your girlfriend gets harassed on the street. Also, about what to do when you feel disconnected and lonely and you're having trouble finding your people. We also have a question about when your teenager doesn't wanna meditate. So you asked, and now we are going to answer. Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial? Someone you can call after a long day. Someone you could lean on for their advice. Someone to listen and help you to see things differently. Welcome to Dear Headspace, a podcast where I sit with a meditation teacher and we answer your questions. Hi Dora. Hi. Look at it, it's summer, it's sunny. It's you and me. What could be better than this? Nothing, literally nothing else. Right, nothing. That would've really stunk if you were like, "Well, lots of things, Robin." No, no. I love doing these. This is so great. I'm so excited to dive into all the questions today. Ugh, I know, me too. Alright, here is our first one from Pablo. Hi, Headspace. Pablo here from Mexico. I'm 27 years old, and my question is about dealing with harassment. But the feeling of anger and frustration of someone basically assaulting someone that I love does tend to stick. So I do know that, once again, my frustration is only a tiny fraction of what women have to go through every day. But my question is, how can I cope with those feelings? Oh, thank you for this question, Pablo. I mean, I just wanna say, first, it's so nice to hear him say so many things about like not trying to come in and give his girlfriend something that she didn't ask for or that like talking about the misogynistic, the savior complex, if you will. So it's just really nice to hear him say all that stuff right up top. Yeah, yeah. And also, just the like decentering of himself in that I think is really beautiful. And also, the awareness that he has already. Like I think his question also has so many answers, and something that I was thinking about as he was sharing was on a more general level. Like looking at our relationship to anger, right? I think about how anger was taught, like how you approach anger in my family, how that was...
