(bright music) Headspace Studio. Hey everyone. Here we are for another episode of "Dear Headspace." And today, I am joined by Dora, and we have Shula jumping in with us as well today. She's a coach here at Headspace. And we are gonna be answering your questions about when you start dating and you have obsessive thoughts, how to let go of material possessions. And we have a question about dealing with an online friend who distanced themselves. So don't go anywhere. We're gonna start in just a moment. Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial? Someone you can call after a long day. Someone you could lean on for their advice. Someone to listen and help you to see things differently. Welcome to "Dear Headspace," a podcast where I sit with a meditation teacher and we answer your questions. Okay, you guys, how are you? We got a powerhouse combo right here. Whoo whoo, feeling good, feeling great. I mean, that was just so chill. That was a "whoo whoo." That was like the chillest "whoo." I loved it. I feel like I'm gonna go for a little run after this. I am not inspired to do that, but I am inspired by both of you. All right everybody, let's just dive right into our first question about dating and obsessive thoughts from Avi. Hi there, Headspace, my name's Avi and I'm from China. Recently, I have so many obsessive thoughts about person. I feel like my college life is disturbed and I'm out of control of my emotions and thoughts. The person is on my mind all the time, even when I'm dancing or studying. I try to distract myself and think about them, but it doesn't work out. So my question is, do you have any advice for dating for the first time, or be mindful of what I'm doing and controlling those intense feelings? Thank you so much. I really love "Dear Headspace." Aw, Avi, first of all, thank you for listening. It's so nice to know that we're connecting out there with folks. And thank you for this question, and for kind of letting us in on this. New relationships are a big thing, so we just appreciate you trusting us with your question. Yeah, well, first of all, I'm like, do I give advice on something I'm still struggling with? Yes you do! I'm like, Especially then. Yeah. I'm like, "Ooh, yeah." I wouldn't say obsessive, but when I...
