(bright music) Headspace Studios. What are some of the greatest accomplishments that you've achieved, and how often have you stopped to celebrate them? Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial? Someone you can call after a long day. Someone you could lean on for their advice. Someone to listen and help you to see things differently. Welcome to "Dear Headspace." (upbeat music) Ooh, it's that time again. It is time for another episode of "Dear Headspace," a podcast where I sit down with one of our fabulous meditation teachers and we answer your questions. We talk about life and love and everything in between. I'm Robin Hopkins, and in this episode, I'm gonna be stirring up some trouble with my brilliant pal, Rosie. Hey, Robin. How are you? I've missed you. I know, me too. I feel like it's been too long since you've been in the Headspace teacher rotation. Yeah, it feels like it's been a long while, but it also feels like it hasn't been any while at all. Well, listen, I've gotta be honest with you. I (laughs) I'm so excited to be here with you, but in a matter of days, I'm heading to a vacation. I'm talking sun, I'm talking rum punch, and that's taken up a lot of my head space. By the way, you see what I did there with that. (Rosie laughs) But what's on the horizon for you that you're looking forward to, Rosie? I have to say, I am also taking a beach, sun, palm tree trip soon. Ooh. I have a little bit of a writing deadline, and so I figured the best way for me to finish it is to take a little time, you know? Where are you going? And why do I not get an invitation to a writer's retreat with palm trees? What's happening here? I'm actually recording some content for Headspace while I'm there. So this is actually work related, but I am staying a couple extra days so I can take some personal time because anytime I take a vacation, depending on who I'm with, sometimes I need a vacation from the vacation. (Robin laughs) I don't know if that makes sense. Yes. I know I'm being a little bit elusive. Yes. But I don't know, let's just say that if I go with my significant other and co (laughs) sometimes I feel like, when there's different personalities involved, you have to adapt to what everybody else wants because it's also everybody else's vacation. And I find that for myself, because I am such a people pleaser, I'm always the one that's sacrificing what I actually wanna do on a vacation. And so I find that the only time I can actually take some time for myself is when I co-mingle with work, if that makes sense. But I love that, though. It's like you're building in me time on a work trip. Like that's just smart as far as I'm...
