Ep 8: Overwhelmed with To-Dos
IRL, Lilly is overwhelmed by her to-do list, which makes it hard to focus on her mindfulness practice, and she finds herself being sucked back into the real world from Unicorn Island again and again. In Unicorn Island, the islanders try to devise a plan to keep Lilly-Corn from being sucked out of their world.

(bright upbeat music) (smooth upbeat music) Okay, before school tomorrow I just have to make sure I study for my math test, write my coding project proposal, meditate, and pick the perfect outfit for picture day. Oh, I'm never gonna get all this stuff done! Lilly! (Lilly gasps) Amar, get out, okay! I'm busy. Mom just called to say she's gonna be here in 15 minutes, and wanted you to know- Ah, you better be ready and have some of your stuff done by the time she comes, or you'll be in trouble. I'm already on it. Geez. Okay, I guess I'll start with my coding proposal. Yeah, that's the most fun. I just have to figure out an app that will make the world a better place. Easy. Okay, my app will make the world a better place by, ooh, creating world peace by- Uh, I can't create world peace in 15 minutes! Maybe there's something easy I can knock out first, and then come back to the big stuff. Ooh, ooh, maybe I can squeeze some meditation in. Yeah, sure, pbst. I'm a pro at that. I'll be done before you can say breathe in, breathe out. (inhales and exhales deeply) (Lilly inhales and exhales deeply) (whimsical music) (Poppy laughing) Hmm. Aah. (Velvet laughing) (whimsical music) Aah! Lilly-Corn! Hey, LC. Oh, hi, Lilly-Corn! I was just thinking of you, and there you are. Hey, hi! Yeah, I just stopped by quickly to call on Dora to help me knock out some mindfulness for my to-do list. But, isn't it really early to call for Dora? We don't even have a problem yet. I know, but I'm on a mission. I only have like 15 minutes for some fast mindfulness before my mom comes to make sure I tackled my to-do list. (whimsical music) Huh? Well, wait. That's never happened before. Ugh, I guess thinking about my to-do list distracted me and sucked me back to reality. But, I still have 12 minutes left. That should be enough time for mindfulness. I just need to quickly get back to Unicorn Island. (Lilly inhaling and exhaling deeply) (Velvet laughing) Aah! Lilly-Corn! Welcome back. This time, stay a while. Or at least say goodbye if you're gonna leave, geez. Want a snack? I've got crunchy ones, chewy ones, salty ones. Snacks, oh no. I totally forgot. Whoa! Hmm? (Lilly gasps) Ugh, I'm supposed to be crossing stuff off my list, not adding to it. I have so much to do. And now I've only got 10 minutes 'till mom gets here, and I've barely even started meditation. Just focus. Focus. Relax, and breathe. (spring boinging) Toasted coconut, Lilly-Corn! Where do you keep going? Are you being sucked into another dimension? Kinda. Every time I start thinking about something I have to do back in my world, it's, "Bye-bye Unicorn Island." Something is off with me today. Maybe you just need to stop thinking about your clearly overwhelming world. Can I get you a drink?...
