Tonight's wind down is a visualization. This exercise is designed to allow rest and relaxation to flow throughout the entire body while noticing as all tension is gently released. So when you're ready, let's begin. So wherever you happen to be slumbering tonight, allow yourself to get nice and comfy. And if it's comfortable for you, taking a gentle, deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. And with that exhalation, allowing yourself to gently let go of the day. And taking another gentle, deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. And with this exhalation, noticing as your body gently sinks into the space beneath it. Just gently settling in and allowing the breath to return to its natural rhythm. And if it feels comfortable for you, gently closing the eyes. Then with your next breath, just imagining a gentle breeze flowing over your entire body. We will be allowing this breeze to settle into each body part, relieving any tension or stress in the body. So starting all the way down from your feet, this gentle breeze starts to flow upwards to the toes, the feet, the ankles, and the lower legs, releasing any tension that's present, and allowing each body part to rest and relax nice and easy. The breeze continues to spread up through the thighs, the pelvis, and the abdomen. All tension melting away, Noticing the breeze, continuing throughout the entire back, the chest, and the shoulders, each body part completely letting go, allowing rest and relaxation to settle in. And now feeling the breeze spreading through your fingers, hands, wrists, elbows, and returning back to the shoulders. Each body part completely relaxing and letting go of any tension. And now the breeze flows through the neck, the face, and the entire head. And as it reaches the very crown of your head, noticing how the body has let go of any and all tension, completely and comfortably settled into the space beneath you. A sense of relief in the body and a stillness in the mind. You're nice and relaxed....
