Headspace, the provider of the world’s most accessible, comprehensive mental health solution, today announced the addition of Lisa Mulrooney Gross to its executive leadership team. Mulrooney Gross joined the company this month after serving in Chief People Officer roles at ChargePoint, and formerly Fitbit (part of Google), where she led company transformations with a focus on building high-performance cultures.

She brings to Headspace over 20 years of human resources leadership experience at large organizations including GE, Tyco Electronics, Applied Materials, and Bayer Healthcare. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving talent strategies to support Headspace’s next phase of growth.

Reporting to Headspace’s CEO, Tom Pickett, Mulrooney Gross will lead the strategy for the company’s People & Talent functions, inclusive of employee experience and onboarding, training and development, total rewards and benefits, organizational design and planning, recruiting, culture initiatives and more.

Mulrooney Gross is an active volunteer and philanthropist who has served on the board of directors for Girls Inc. of Alameda County since 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of California at Los Angeles and her master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University.
