(gentle music) Hello everybody, I am so excited for another "Dear Headspace" with my favorite community of people and if you didn't know, that's you all who are listening. Joining me today, I've got none other than Kessonga, and Headspace Mental Health Coach, Corey. And we've got some really interesting questions today, okay? We are gonna be talking about how to say goodbye to your family home. How to mindfully listen when you completely disagree with the person that you are speaking to. And we have a question about when you're in recovery for an eating disorder, but you're still struggling with negative self-beliefs. Okay, time to dig in and answer some important questions. (gentle upbeat music) Have you ever wished you had a wise meditation teacher on speed dial? Someone you can call after a long day. Someone you could lean on for their advice. Someone to listen and help you to see things differently. Welcome to "Dear Headspace," a podcast where I sit with a meditation teacher and we answer your questions. (gentle upbeat music ends) Hi you two, Kess and Corey, Corey and Kess. How is everybody today? Greetings, peace. Peace, Robin, and peace, Corey. I'm doing good, I'm doing good. Hello, Hello. Happy to be here, happy to see everybody. Well, I'm glad you're both here with me today. And Kess, I do want just a shout out to you, there's a little treat for you in one of the questions today, so listen in for that. Oh, okay, okay. But it's not coming yet. It's not coming yet, so you gotta hold on. Not yet, no yet? Okay. (Corey chuckles) Hold on. (laughs) So you build up my anticipation and so. Exactly, stay with me, stay with me. Let me just tap into my practice here and be present. (group laughs) Alright, well, what is coming down the pike right now is question number one, from Emma. So here we go. (gentle music) Hi, Headspace, my name is Emma, and I'm from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I'd like to ask for advice on how to say goodbye to a house. We have a family house that belonged to my grandparents who have lived there for about 60 years. And I've lived in my own part of it since 2015, and my brother as well, since 2018. Both of my grandparents have now died, and my mother has died as well, so it's a house that reminds me a lot of them and their lives. Now, my grandfather has died recently. My uncle, my brother, and me have inherited the house together but the plan is to sell because it's financially just too complicated to keep it...
