I think sometimes people want to manipulate you into thinking that you should be mistreated. It's like, I don't think that people should mistreat me. I think I'm a kind and loving person, and that's the energy that I'd like to get back from people. Hi, everyone. It's Rosie here. Welcome back to "Radio Headspace". As a first gen kid with a gigantic family, I've always found it hard to set boundaries. Fortunately, I discovered Nedra Tawwab. Nedra is the bestselling author of "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and "Drama Free". She's helped countless people learn how to communicate their needs, say no without guilt, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I'm so excited for you to learn a bit more about setting boundaries, because it definitely helped me. Hi, Nedra. It's so amazing and great to see you here on "Radio Headspace". Thank you so much for joining us today. It is so wonderful to chat with you again. This is not our first chat, so to be back in conversation with you is amazing. I think we have some good energy together. I think so too, and I really have loved every single conversation that we've had has always left such a deep impression, and I feel like at a time when statistically, we're showing that as a society we're really struggling, we couldn't think of a better person to have this conversation with. So, thank you so much again for being here. You're welcome. And you go from when women started to have mental health issues. So, it's so interesting that you say like, all of the statistics that we have now, when I think in actuality, mental health has been a problem for many, many years, and now, we just have data on it, right? Yes. So when we think about the 1920s, the 1930s, like there were postpartum issues, there was anxiety, there was depression, but we didn't have the data to back it. And when you really think about it, I don't think it's something we cared about many years ago. So now, it is something that we are aware of more often than not, and that is, you know, a beautiful thing to be in this space at a time where people are starting to prioritize mental health conversations and mental wellness. Yes, I find that so interesting that these sort of issues were coming up back then, but we didn't talk about them as much. Why do you think that is? One, I don't think we knew that we could. When I think about, you know, my grandparents' generation, I think there was a lot of, you just gotta keep going. There was a lot of strength talk like, "Yeah, that happened, but let's move on. Let's move forward." And there's something...
